Day 01: Arrival in Bangkok.

Day 02: Flight to Paro and drive to Thimphu.

It’s a spectacular flight offering views of snow capped mountains of the

Day 03: Explore Thimphu.
Explore the wonders of Thimphu that includes King’s Memorial Chorten,
Takin Zoo, Bhutanese Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts, Heritage
Museum, traditional paper factory, Tasicho Dzong etc.

Day 04: Drive back to Paro via Chele La and Haa Valley
On the way, we will take a detour of lesser known Haa Valley which is a
pristine area recently opened for travelers. We will visit the village and
its temple. We will enjoy panoramic views of the valleys and the snow
capped mountains (subject to weather) from Chele-la pass.

Day 05: Explore Paro
We visit the National Museum housed at Ta Dzong which was originally built
as watch tower to guard the Paro Dzong. We descend to visit the Paro
Dzong-which is believed to have been built on the heap of jewels. The
Dzong is the administrative head quarter and the seat of monk body. We
will visit Kyichu Temple-the contemporary of Jorkhang Temple of Lhasa.
Overnight at Resort
If you are keen on hiking, we will take 4 hours roundtrip hiking to the
legendary Takstang Monastery famed as Tiger’s Nest. The monastery clings
on a vertical rock face about 800 m above the valley floor. The legend
goes that Guru Padma Sambhava flew on a tigress’s back to this site and
fought the devil powers obstructing the path of Buddhism into Bhutan.
Day 06: Paro-Kathmandu KB - 400 - 08:00- 08:55
After breakfast in the hotel transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and complete your visa process,2 Passport size photographs needed as well as need to pay in Dollar currency $25 each. Meet the guide in outside the airport then transfer to hotel. Check rest today.

Day 07: Kathmandu sightseeing-Drive to Nagarkot
Embark on tour of the day that begins in Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of holy Bagmati River, one of the principal tributaries of Ganges. Admission to temple courtyard is reserved for Hindus only but you would have a very good close up from the other side of the river. The temple is vibrant with the activities of the devotees. You will also get to see the Hindu Cremation Services on the bank of the River. From here, the giant Boudhanath stupa lies in 10 minutes distance. This has the fame as the largest Stupa in the world and one of the “must visit” site for Tibetan Buddhists in their life time and the area is inhabited by Tibetan refugees. Pilgrims circumambulate the stupa with spinning prayer wheels or counting beads and uttering sacred mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. Surrounded around the stupa are monasteries associated with different schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Have a break here for half an
hour if you are thirsty or feel like some snacking! In the afternoon, you will drive 14 km north-east to Bhaktapur-the best preserved medieval Malla Principality where you can see the intricate wood and stone works in the temples, monasteries and houses of Bhaktapur.The sightseeing tour concludes in the late afternoon and drive to Nagarkot.Overnight in Nagarkot
Day 08: Drive to Chitwan Nationation Park 4-5 hrs. 200 kms
After breakfast, leave for Chitwan national park .Asia’s one of the best preserved game park. After refreshment, visit National park visitors center, acquire the information on flora & fauna of the park and visit the village of Tharu Tribal people of Chitwan whose lifestyle remain unchanged over the centuries. Day 09: Jungle Safari activities
You are busy all day today in Jungle safari activities such as elephant back safari ,Dug out canoeing , elephant breeding camp visit , Tharu cultural dances in the evening. Overnight in chitwan
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu 4/5 hrs
After breakfast in the hotel drive back to Kathmandu. Up on arrival in Kathmandu check in hotel. Free in the afternoon. Fare well dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa
Morning you will fly for about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet. "Lhasa" . Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama., On arrival you will be met by the local representative and transferred to your respective hotel. (60 km/ 1 hr). Full rest in the afternoon to acclimatize. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa .
Day 12: Lhasa
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbulinka. Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet. After sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 13: Lhasa
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000 monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by the Chinese. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Barkhor Market place, which is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. After Sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 14 : Lhasa
After breakfast, visit Tibetan Medical Institute. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
Mentsikhang (Tibetan Medicine Institute): The history of Tibetan medicine can be dated back to 2,300 years ago but for giving this a worldwide recognition Mentsekhang played an important role. Mentsekhang, the Tibetan medicine institute was built in 1916 as the center of research for Tibetan medicine. This serves as the traditional Tibetan hospital and is incidentally the largest in Tibet. It is located at Yuthok Lu just west of the Jokhang Temple. This was also the place for calendar calculations and was under the Tibetan local government before the Cultural Revolution in 1959. In 1980,Mentsekhang was expanded and it became the immediate centre for research and production of Tibetan medicine. This is also the place where training and treatments are provided. The institute is spread over an area of 40,000 sq meters. It
consists of various departments like, orthopedics, pediatrics, internal medicine and surgery, etc. Mentsekhang is also the school for training Tibetan doctors. The Tibetan medical theory is portrayed on Thangkas as a teaching tool

Terms and Conditions :
Visa for Tibet - The clients must arrive Kathmandu at least two days prior to departure to Tibet tour as visa working days in Chinese embassy are - Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday only between 0900-1100 hrs.
Visa for Bhutan : Visa approval paper is given by the Foreign Ministry 3-4days before the travel date which we pass on to the clients. Though Druk-Air always gets one copy from the FM it is better if the clients carry their copy along in order to avoid last minute problems at the airport on the travel date.
In order to book a particular tour to Tibet we need the following details in advance with scan copy of passport by email or by fax.

PHOTOGRAPHY - Still Cameras, home video Cameras, and 8 mm movie cameras are allowed into China but special permission is needed for 16 mm and 35 mm movie cameras. There are strict control over taking pictures inside the monasteries, but upon paying certain fees , a monk may allow to take few pictures.
INSURANCE - We recommended that you insure yourself against sickness, EMERGENCY RESCUE, accident, hospitalization, cancellation etc. as we accept no responsibility for damages and expenses which may arise from mishaps to persons or their belongings during these pilgrimages.
MEDICINE AND HEALTH - At present no health certificates or inoculations are required for entry into Tibet. However because of the rugged mountainous terrain, high altituded and non availability of good medical facilities, we require that you be certified by a Doctor to be medically fit for high altitude travel. It is advisable to carry the following medicines: insect repellents, band aids, throat lozenges, antibiotic ointment, aspirins, sleeping pills and medication for body ach, cold and antimotion sickness. At altitudes it is advisable not to exert oneself and drink plenty of fluids but little alcohal.
