The 11-day Everest Base Camp Heli Trek starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. Setting off on the classic route to the Everest region, we then make our way to the thrilling airstrip of Lukla. From Lukla, we head down towards the hamlet of Phakding for our first night in the Everest Region. Entering the naturally stunning Sagarmatha National Park, we make our way towards Namche Bazaar. From Namche, we make our way towards Tengboche. Tengboche is known for housing the largest monastery in the region, Tengboche Monastery. Ascending to the hamlet of Dingboche, we rest for a day. The final stretch of our ascent takes us to Lobuche before reaching the Everest Base Camp. The camp gives you a full view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. To get a good view of the Mt. Everest (8848m), we hike up to Kalapatthar early the next morning. Not only do you get a great view of the Mt. Everest (8848m) and its ranges from Kalapatthar but the first rays of the sun hit Everest before anywhere else and gives you an unforgettable Himalayan panorama. Concluding our trip, we descend down to Gorakshep and fly back to Kathmandu in a helicopter. The trip back to Kathmandu is similarly enticing in nature and is a guarantee that you can witness some of the highest peaks in the world. Itinerary


  1. Day 1

    Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)

    Once you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative just outside the arrival lounge. You will be escorted directly to the hotel and be introduced to other staff members and your guides. As no other activities/events are scheduled for the day, feel free to do as you please.

  2. Day 2

    Day 02 Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and Trek to Phakding (2610m)

    Overlooking the Himalayas, the 30-minute flight from Kathmandu takes us to one of the most thrilling airports in the world. After a brief rest at Lukla, we set off on our journey heading for Phakding. Crossing the exquisite hilly landscapes, the trail gently ascends through rhododendron forests to Phakding.

  3. Day 3

    Day 03 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

    The trail heading out of Phakding ascends through the villages of Monjo and Jorsalle. Monjo is also the entry point to Sagarmatha National Park and you trek through the park throughout. Ascending through the lush green forests, you will have the stunning Himalayan view of Thamserku (6623m) and Kongde Ri (6187m). The final stretch of our journey takes us through several settlements all the way.

  4. Day 4

    Day 04 Namche Bazaar (3440m)

    Today is the day for rest and acclimatization in Namche. You have multiple options for the acclimatization hike. You can either hike to Khumjung and Khunde or head towards the Everest View Hotel. The pleasant hilly pathway ascending towards Khumjung and Khunde is a thoroughly pleasant one.  Similarly, the Everest View Hotel, as the name suggests, gives you an unforgettable view of the Mt. Everest (8848m).

  5. Day 5

    Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m)

    Well rested and well acclimatized, we make our way out of Namche heading towards Tengboche. The journey quietly ascends towards Phunki Thanga heading through rhododendron. The final stretch of the day takes us alongside the views of Ama Dablam (6856m) all the way to Tengboche. Upon arrival, we take a brief rest before making our way to the local monastery of Tengboche, the largest monastery in the Everest Region.

  6. Day 6

    Day 06 Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m)

    Heading out of Tengboche with the Himalayas on the horizon, we make our way towards Debouche. Through the forests filled with pine, fir, and rhododendron trees, we cross over to the hamlet of Pangboche taking in the mesmerizing views of Ama Dablam (6856m) and Thamserku (6608m). For the final stretch of our journey, we make our way alongside Imja River towards Dingboche.

  7. Day 7

    Day 07 Dingboche to Nagarjun (5100m) and Return

    Another acclimatization day today, we take time off at the hamlet of Dingboche to acclimatize and get acquainted with the local Sherpa culture. For our acclimatization hike, we make our way to Nagarjun hill located at an altitude of 5075m. The hike is short and ascends gently through the rocky hill. The summit offers a 360-degree view of Lobuche East (6119m), Kangtega (6685m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m) and Ama Dablam (6856m).

  8. Day 8

    Day 08 Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m)

    Our final stop before the ascent to Everest Base Camp, we carry on all the way to the hamlet of Lobuche. Escaping Dingboche, the trail ascends gently through alpine vegetation and arid Himalayan landscapes. We make our way towards Pheriche, from where an ascending journey takes us to Chupki Lahara. The final stretch of the journey takes on the icy and slipper glacial moraines of the Khumbu Glacier right to the foothills of Mt. Nuptse (7861m) at Lobuche.

  9. Day 9

    Day 09 Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and to Gorakshep (5181m)

    Today, we finally make it to the foot of the world’s tallest mountain, the Mt. Everest (8848m). Ascending from Lobuche, the trail takes us through the snowy pathways and glacial moraines. With the Himalayas all around, we continue our journey past the monuments dedicated to fallen mountaineers to finally arrive at the famed Everest Base Camp. The camp gives you a full view of the Khumbu Glacier and snow-capped mountains like Nuptse (7861m) and Pumo Ri (7165m) among others. After a short rest, we make our way down to Gorakshep for the night.

  10. Day 10

    Day 10 Hiking to Kalapatthar (5545m) and Heli ride to Kathmandu (1400m)

    Today, we begin early and start ascending to Kalapatthar for the stunning view of Everest (8884m) and the sunrise. The first rays of the sun hit the summit before anywhere else and slowly lights up the sky creating an unforgettable Himalayan panorama; the likes of which you have never seen before. Afterward, we descend back to Gorakshep where a lovely breakfast awaits us. After breakfast, we board our Helicopter heading back to Kathmandu concluding our journey. The helicopter ride is also filled with equally delirious sights of the mountains in and around the Everest ranges.

  11. Day 11

    Day 11 Departure from Kathmandu
