Trip Dossier


  1. Day 1

    On arrival in Kathmandu meet our staff for transfer to hotel.

    On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport warmly received by our guide and staff and then transfer you to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu within Thamel, the happening and exciting place of the city.

    After checking into your rooms getting refreshed from Jet-Lag, join with other members at the main hall or lobby, our guide will provide briefing on treks-hotels with necessary information.

    Evening includes group dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk culture program with various dances of Nepal while having your authentic Nepalese dinner with local entertainment.

  2. Day 2

    In Kathmandu trek preparation and sightseeing tour.

    Morning our expert guide will show you around Kathmandu heritage sites around Kathmandu famous Durbar Square (old palace and courtyard), Syambhunath Stupa and other places of interest, with afternoon free preparation for trek to
    Everest base camp, next early morning.

  3. Day 3

    Fly to Lukla 2,820 m (30 mins flights) trek to Monjo 2,880 m via Phakding 2,640 m - 05 hrs.

    Early morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for short scenic flight to Lukla, gateway to many adventures and treks around Khumbu region, where walk starts on gradual winding path past several Sherpa farm villages with views of Kongde and Kusum-Khanguru to reach at Phakding.

    From here gradual walk into patch of pine forest to reach a long suspension bridge, after crossing over above Dudh Kosi River a short climb to reach at lovely Monjo village for overnight stop located near Sagarmatha National Park entrance with views of Kongde and Tharmarserku.

  4. Day 4

    Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 04 hrs.

    Walk today takes you to famous Namche Bazaar where altitude gains as walk progress, morning starts heading into Sagarmatha National Park, from here walk into a river gorge covered with tall rhododendron-pines and fir trees.

    After crossing last high bridge with few hours climb to reach at Namche Bazaar on walk views of Everest-Lhotse and Kongde peaks, Namche Bazaar located 3,440 m high, a perfect spot for rest day and acclimatization.

    Namche Bazaar a main town or a large village of Khumbu areas, where colorful and exciting Saturday market takes place once a week.

  5. Day 5

    Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion

    Rest day for acclimatization before heading high country, morning after breakfast with options for hike to Everest View Hotel or walk to the top hill of Namche for fantastic views of dramatic landscapes with Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Amadablam with series of high peaks, enjoying views visit its interesting National Parks Museum offers wide information of the Khumbu region with Sherpa history-culture-flora and fauna includes early mountaineering expedition details.

  6. Day 6

    Trek to Tsenga 3,460 m via Khunde, Khumjung 3,653 m -05 hrs.

    At Namche Bazaar after a pleasant overnight stop walk uphill from Namche to reach a hill top, as route diverts with climb to Syangboche, a small settlement with an old airstrip.

    Enjoy grand views of mountains as route leads on gradual ups and down to reach at Khunde village, here visit its small hospital built and run by Hillary and his Foundation.

    After interesting tour slow descends to Khumjung, one of largest villages within Khumbu area after Namche Bazaar, Khunde and Khumjung villages located on a wide and scenic glacial valley at the bottom of holy Mt. Khumbila the patron god of Khumbu Sherpa.

    At Khumjung visit its oldest monastery, where you can get glimpse of a Yeti scalp kept safe and secure in a glass box where visitors can have a look with donations for monastery welfare.

    From here a slow downhill walk on the main trail of Everest base camp and then our route leads diverts from the busy path to reach at Tsenga, a place with nice luxury lodge in a serene environment with views of snow capped peaks.

  7. Day 7

    Trek to Pangboche 3,900m via Thyangboche 3,867 m - 05 hrs.

    From Tsenga walk leads on gradual scenic path to join the main trails and descend to Phunge-Tenga near Imjatse River within forested area a peaceful place and a

    lunch spot for many trekkers.

    After a brief stop climb leads into cool forested areas on winding up to reach at

    famous Thyangboche and the monastery, located on a small plateau surrounded by array of peaks with views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam and series of mountain range.

    Here with time visit its impressive monastery which was burnt down and rebuilt

    Into its present form by Hillary Foundation and Himalayan Trust, an interesting

    Interior with colorful Buddhist religious painting and tapestry, fresco with great

    idols of Buddha and other famous Gurus.

    After Thyangboche walk downhill within cool shade of forest to reach a bridge

    and then short slow climb on leaving the tall trees, lush vegetation for few juniper and rhododendron bushes as walk reaches you at Pangboche village for overnight

    stop beneath towering Mt. Amadablam with views of Everest.

  8. Day 8

    Trek to Dingboche 4,365 m - 04 hrs.

    After Pangboche today a short walks to reach Dingboche at Imjatse valley, trail

    follows with slow climb to Somare facing closer views of Amadablam peak and

    then on gradual up to reach a place where Pheriche and Dingboche route splits.

    Where our trails leads east direction with down to a rive and with short climb to

    reach into scenic Imjatse valley at Dingboche for overnight stop.

    Dingboche with many good lodges, where overnight stops for two days will be on best available lodge facing outmost views of mountains range with Island Peak.

  9. Day 9

    Another rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and local hike.

    At Dingboche to enjoy spectacular mountains views on rest days as well for

    Acclimatization’s where one can take a short hike uphill above Dingboche and

    Imjatse valley for super panorama of surrounding peaks with Amadablam, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, North Face of Amadablam includes grand views of Island

    Peak or Imjatse Himal, rest of the afternoon free at leisure along with mountain

    scenery.

  10. Day 10

    Trek to Lobuche 4,890 m - 05 hrs.

    From Dingboche morning walk leads to gentle up to reach on nice main path then reaching at Thugla, a small place with few huts serving as Tea- Houses where Khumbu glaciers melts into torrential river.

    An ideal spot for lunch break, afternoon climb to a steep ridge then reaching on top of Thugla ridge or pass, here one can observe many tombs and memorial of
    Everest or other peak climbers and mountaineers.

    After a short rest continue walk to reach at Lobuche for overnight on best lodge available at this high altitude and rough terrains facing views of Nuptse and Lobuche peaks.

  11. Day 11

    Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and at Gorakshep 5,180 m - 06 hrs.

    Today walks reaches to our final destinations at Everest Base Camp, morning walk on wide valley taking slow with short climb to reach above Khumbu glaciers, walk leads past moraine of rocky dunes to reach at Gorakshep, a place with few lodges on the junction of Everest base camp and Kalapatthar route.

    Gorakshep an earlier Everest base camp since 1950’s to late 1970’s before route moved 4 to 6 k.m. further, from Gorakshep few hours walk leads you on moraine and glacier section to reach our ultimate destination at base camp with sweeping views of giant Nuptse-Lo la, Lhotse with notorious massive Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers.

    In high mountaineering season base camp will be very active with climbers and crews with many tented camps set on top moraine and glaciers.

    Enjoying grand time and then back to Gorakshep for highest overnight stop of the adventure on visiting Everest base camp, Gorakshep located beneath high rocky Kalapathar Hill and Mt. Pumori.

  12. Day 12

    Hike to Kalapatthar 5,545 m walk to Pangboche 3,900 m- 06 hrs

    Morning climb to Kalapatthar located at 5,545 m, highest point of the adventure rewards you with incredible mountain panorama with Everest at close within stone throw distance.

    Enjoy grand views of mountains and descend to Gorakshep for breakfast, continue walk downhill past Lobuche and Thugla, as route leads into windy valley of Pheriche, and then short climb to a ridge with long descend to Pangboche village for overnight stop.

  13. Day 13

    Trek to Namche Bazaar - 06 hrs.

    Walk from Pangboche descend to a bridge above Imjatse River and then climb to Thyangboche Monastery, back into green vegetation and tree lines, with time here to enjoy scenic views of mountains with Everest and majestic Amadablam, as well visit its interesting monastery.

    After Thyangboche downhill to Phunki Tenga with climb for an hour to reach small place at Kyanjima and the continue walk for short hours to reach at Namche for overnight stop.

  14. Day 14

    Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.

    Morning enjoy last day walk of this fabulous adventure as route lead on same scenic trail back at Phakding, and then on pleasant trail of few short ups and down reaching at Choplung village, where an hour climb reaches you at Lukla for final overnight stop around high Khumbu and Everest area.

    In Lukla celebrate last night dinner among fellow trekkers, guides and porters after a fantastic time on Everest Base Camp Luxury trekking.

  15. Day 15

    Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotels.

    Morning transfer to Luka airport named after Tenzing-Hillary, an honor and tribute to late legendry mountaineers who conquered Mt. Everest in May 29th 1953.

    Then board in a aircraft for scenic 35 minutes flight to reach back into hustle and bustle city life of Kathmandu, then transfer to your respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure.

  16. Day 16

    In Kathmandu spare and contingency day

    Reserve as spare day or contingency in case of flight delay which might lead to cancellation in bad and unfavorable weather conditions in Lukla at the end or in the beginning, this free day one can spend for your own individual activities.

  17. Day 17

    International Departure homeward bound.
