Season for Everest Panorama Trekking:

For EverestPanorama Trekking can be visited all months of the year except the monsoon wetmonths from mid June to mid September when days are cloudy with thick cloudsthat obstructs the views of mountains.

The bestmonth is from March to May and September to December months, during spring timeof March to May with wild flowers are in season specially the rhododendron(national flower of the country), with clear morning most of the day but canget overcast during late afternoon times. 

Pleasanttemperatures for walks but cold in the morning and night times can snowsometimes even in mid and late spring season.

Day 03:          Trek to Namche Bazaar3,440 m – 06 hrs.
Day 04:          Rest day at Namche Bazaarfor acclimatization and excursion.
Day 05:          Trek to Khunde 3,880 andat Khumjung 3,653 m -04 hrs. 
Day 06:          Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs.

Itinerary


  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

    On reaching at Kathmandu or Nepal only international airport received by our guide or staff for short transfer to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, after checking into your rooms and satisfied join with other members of Everest Panorama Trekking for briefing on the meeting hall.

    Evening includes nice authentic Nepalese dinner with cultural show of the country to entertain you while enjoying your delicious meals. 

  2. Day 2

    Fly to Lukla 2,820 m (30 mins) trek to Phakding 2,657 m - 04 hrs.

    Waking and having early breakfast where short transfer takes you to Kathmandu domestic airport, after checking in (where sharp items and lighters, matches not allowed in normal hand bags or day packs).

    Then proceed to board in a smaller aircraft of respective airlines either in Dornier or Twin Otter planes can be similar type, where it can accommodate 15-18 capacity seats.

    As plane lifts heading east direction facing amazing panorama of mountain range with Everest and rolling green hills, valley as plane lands at Lukla airstrip which is named Tenzing and Hillary in tribute to hero’s of first climbers to step on top Mt. Everest.

    From here after getting organized walk towards Phakding for overnight stop a pleasant walk through number of Sherpa villages with interesting prayer walls and spinning bells with some ups and down to reach Phakding in the comfort of a nice lodge. 

  3. Day 3

    Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 04 hrs.

    Second day of the adventure leads on pleasant path following Dudh Kosi River upstream and criss crossing the river several times to reach Monjo village and at Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepalese and Sherpa call as Chomolungma).

    Walk follows on the river bank within lovely cool forest and then after a high and last bridge, where route leads on winding up to reach at famous Namche Bazaar for overnight stops as well for acclimatization. 

  4. Day 4

    Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion

    Namche, main town and a large village of Khumbu area once a week in Saturday busy and colorful market takes place, which is interesting to observe the naïve Sherpa from all around Khumbu villages.

    At Namche enjoy rest day and walk to some view-points to catch lovely scenery of surrounding landscapes with Everest and array of peaks. 

  5. Day 5

    Trek to Khunde 3,880 m and at Khumjung 3,653 m -04 hrs.

    From Namche a short day walk to reach higher villages of Khunde and Khumjung as climb starts for few hours reaching at Syangboche, a place with an old short airstrip with aerial views of Namche colorful houses and lodge includes majestic views of snow capped peaks.

    After Syangboche walk gets better with slow uphill and down to reach a wide glacial valley where Khunde and Khumjung villages located beneath towering holy Mt. Khumbi-la the patron god of Khumbu Sherpa.

    At Khunde tour of the only hospital of the area built by late Hillary and managed by Hillary Foundation, and then a short walk leads to our overnight stop at large Khumjung village.

    A great place with views of Amadablam and Everest includes array of peaks, while in Khumjung visit its old monastery of great interest with opportunity to see a scalp believed to be of Yeti.

  6. Day 6

    Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m - 05 hrs.

    Enjoying pleasant time at Khumjung which different to Namche Bazaar, as Khumjung village offers more of Sherpa culture and interesting to observe age-old heritage farm life of the Sherpa, morning walk down to join the main trails of Namche, where walk leads with grand views and the short descend with few hours climb into forested area to reach at beautiful Thyangboche for overnight stop.

    Thyangboche and the monastery surrounded by series of high peaks with excellent views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse with magnificent Amadablam, Kantega, Tharmarserku and Kongde, a nice spot in the midst of green forest.

    Here with time to visit the monastery of great interest and observe the monks and priest in deep prayers and religious activities.

    In the month of October or early November festival is held at Thyangboche called Mani-Rimdu which will be great to witness during the events. 

  7. Day 7

    Trek to Namche Bazaar- 05 hrs.

    Morning surrounded by beautiful panorama of mountains retrace the journey back to Namche with down and ups and on good winding trail to Namche bazaar for overnight stop.

  8. Day 8

    Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.

    Today will be one of the longest walk of the adventure but worth the views of lovely scenery with much downhill and few ups to reach back to Lukla for last overnight stop around high Khumbu and Everest area.

  9. Day 9

    Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotels.

    As time for your flight walk to Lukla or Tenzing-Hillary airport for short scenic flight to land at Kathmandu and transfer to your respective hotels.

  10. Day 10

    In Kathmandu spare and contingency day.

    Reserved this day as spare or contingency just in case of flight delay and cancellation which might happen sometimes due to bad and unfavorable weather for plane to fly vice-versa, on the this free day enjoy individual activities or join in for tour around Kathmandu-Patan or Bhaktapur great places of interest.

  11. Day 11

    International Departure homeward bound.

    Farewell and the last day in the land of Himalaya and colorful cultural country, transfer to airport for your international flight home-ward bound or to next respective destinations.
