Everest View Trekking easy and short can be undertaken throughout the year. However the autumn (September-November) and the spring (March-May) are the recommended seasons. The former season offers excellent weather and tantalizing mountain views whereas during the latter one, different varieties of wild flowers especially rhododendrons make the hillside a hunting paradise. Mountain views are excellent and temperature is quit moderate.

Before starting the Everest view trekking from Lukla, we will reach there by a short but panoramic flight from the capital, Kathmandu. And then, the trail directs us to Phakding, Dudhkoshi valley and Namche bazaar respectively. In Namche aka Sherpa capital, we will feel aroma of Himalayan culture and rhododendron woods which, in addition, will encourage you not to put up the shutters of your eyes even a single moment. Proceeding ahead, stunning panorama of the Everest welcomes you from Tengboche monastery premises. Picturesque landscapes themselves define what the mammoth pleasure is. Itinerary


  1. Day 1

    Katmandu (1310m/4298ft) Arrive at international airport Kathmandu

    You will be welcomed by garland of seasonal flowers then transfer to hotel by our representative on an AC vehicle car/van .It is interesting drive along colorful easygoing traffic road from airport to hotel.Upon arrival in hotel, brief orientation by tour officer about the schedule. Over night at hotel, and then have traditional dinner with dances. Optional after check in to the hotel if time permits: Normally because of jet leg this day is free to do rest if you are ready to start sightseeing we can start city tour on the same day, programme is always flexible

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu – Lukla Airport– Phakding (Approx. 3 hrs trek )

    After driving to Kathmandu airport we will have 30 minutes’ scenic flight to Lukla (2800 MASL). When we meet our Sherpa team, we will trek for Phakding (2600 MASL). Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD)

  3. Day 3

    Phakding – Namche (Approx 5 hrs trekking )

    Namche (3440 MASL) is regarded as the gateway of Trans–Himalayan trade since long. After long hike from Phakding, we will take rest in this land of Sherpa inhabitant. Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD)

  4. Day 4

    Acclimatization at Namche

    This rest day supports you to energize in highest elevation preventing from altitude sickness. We will explore local villages and museum nearby. While visiting Hillary School and the Hospital, we will memorize the pioneer mountaineers Tenzing Norge Sherpa and Edmund Hillary and will bow our head to pay respect to them. Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD) Namche Bazzar is a colorful Sherpa village with many wonderful and interesting shops and vendors, fabulous food, and stunning views of the surrounding Himalayas. An early trekking above town, before the clouds move in, reward trekkers with a spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse (the 4th highest peak in the world), and the beautiful Ama Dablam. On the way down, there is chance to visit the Sherpa Museum that houses an exhibit on traditional Sherpa lifestyle and a fabulous photography display by a local Nepalese naturalist. One room highlights the Sherpa traditions and in another, Sherpa high altitude climbers are presented.

  5. Day 5

    Namche – Deboche (Approx 5 hrs trekking )

    Via Tengboche, we continue our trekking to Deboche (4350 MASL). The largest monastay in Khumbu, Tengboche (3850 MASL), offers gigantic view of Everest along with Amadablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, etc. Here, we will pass by quiet rhododendron forest. Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD)

  6. Day 6

    Trek to khumjung (3800m/). Approx

    Walking 4 hours, Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD) everest base camp trekking, on the way

  7. Day 7

    Trek to Phakding (2610m/8563ft). Approx.

    Walking to 5 hours, Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD)

  8. Day 8

    Trek to Lukla(2840m/9317ft). Approx.

    Walking to 3:30 to 4 hours Crossing a number of suspension bridges over Dudhkoshi river and approaching lush valleys of lower Khumbu, we hike down to Lukla (2800 MASL) on the last day of the trek Overnight at Tea House Lodge (BLD)

  9. Day 9

    An early morning 7.00 am flight to Kathmandu.

    Overnight at Hotel Yak and yeti 5 stars (B)

  10. Day 10

    After breakfast transfer to the Airport for departure
