Itinerary

Day 1

Flight to Gonkar airport of Lhasa and transfer to Tsedang. (B)

You can fly from Kathmandu (Nepal) or Chengdu (China) to Gonkar airport of Lhasa. Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by the Tibetan guide and drive to Tsetang (58miles, 2 hrs). Check in hotel and take rest for the acclimatization.

Day 2

Tsedang (B)

Visit the Yambulakhang Palace, Traduk temple and ancient tombs of Tibetan Kings in Chongye Valley.

Day 3

Tsedang-Lhasa (12,193ft, 122miles, 4 hrs) (B)

Drive to Lhasa. En route, Samye Monastery.

Day 4-5

At Lhasa (B)

Visit Dalai Lama’s Potala and Norbulinghkha Palaces , Drepung and Sera Monasteries, Jorkhang temple, Traditional Tibetan Hospital , Barkhor street etc . Yamdrok tso lake, way to shigatse from lhasa
