The Nagarkot hilltop at 2100m altitude is your first destination, from where the hike begins. You can view the spectacular sunrise from the hilltop before starting your hike. Continuing the journey, the trail follows down towards the Tamang villages. You will come across thatched roof settlement of Tamang people, who still live in tune with nature. You will first start with an hour’s drive to Nagarkot Hill Station from where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise. You will spend your time on a short excursion around Nagarkot and then carry on with the rest of the journey to Changunarayan. The total trek takes about 4 hours. You can enjoy looking around the Changunarayan Temple. You will take an hour’s drive back to Kathmandu to your accommodations.
