FAQs

Q.1

When is the best time to do this hike?

You can do this hike at any time of the year. The preferable season to do this hike is during spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) as the weather is clear and stable. During these months, you can see the mountain ranges. The average temperature is also tolerable during these seasons and you don’t have to worry about unpredictable weather.

Q.2

Can children do this hike?

Yes, this hike is suitable for children. The route is graded as easy and is not strenuous even for elderly people. However, you have to keep your children under supervision, as there are some parts in the route, which have cliffs. We will try to make the hike as safe as possible so please keep the children under proper guidance.

Q.3

Will extra costs covered by the company?

You will be notified about the cost of the trip beforehand. The company does not cover extra costs like refreshments and tips. Thus, it is recommended to carry extra money. There won’t be any exchange counters or ATMs available in the hiking trail. So, we advise you to exchange your money into Nepalese currency before heading for the hike.

Q.4

Do I need to carry my water bottle?

It is better to carry your water bottle because the shops en route may charge higher or you may not get water when you want. There are shops along the route where you can refill. We also promote similar eco-friendly and healthy practices on all our trips. This will be an economical option as well.

Q.5

Do I need to give tips?

Tipping culture in Nepal does not have a fixed rate or criteria so, it depends on yourself if you want to give tips or not. Thus, there is no compulsion of giving tips and it depends on your level of satisfaction with their services. In case you want to tip your guide, you can decide the amount based on the service provided by your guide.
