Nepal Himalayan experience starts in the mystical valley of Kathmandu that has living culture and the world heritage sites. The arts and architectures of Kathmandu’s temples, stupas, monasteries and palaces are comparable to that of no where in the world! On a clear weather day, the view of the Himalayas to the north of the valley is already alluring! From Kathmandu , its safe and faster to take the 30 minutes flight to Pokhara as the surface transportation recently has been boring because of the number of security checks on the highway and Sometime by an unpredicted blockade imposed by the rebels. The flight rewards you with spectacular views of the Himalayas in the right side. Pokahra is referred as the Switzerland of Nepal and it’s beautiful indeed. Pokhara offers lakes, gorges and caves to the visitors and the best view points in its surroundings. From Pokhara, you will take a 20 minutes flight to Jomsom, a place like no where in the world! Jomsom spreads over both the banks of the Kali Gandaki. The towering peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri form an attractive backdrop. The views from Jomsom are enchanting as the Nilgiri (7,061 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) ranges reflect the golden rays of the rising and setting sun. The entire panorama is filled with a golden, glittering light which forms a dramatic contrast with the barren, black and dry mountains of the surrounding Kali Gandaki valley.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by Our Representative and be transferred to your hotel. Check in hotel and take rest. If you feel like, you can take a short tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square -the old Royal Palace Complex where you will see a cluster of temples, including the Temple of Kumari -the Living Goddess of Nepal. In the evening, our representative will invite you for a dinner in a typical Nepali Restaurant with folk dance performances. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 02: At Kathmandu Today, you will explore the ancient and medieval Hindu Temples , Buddhist Stupas and monasteries, palaces, monuments and shrines, some of which are recognized by UNESCO as the World Heritage Site. In the morning, you will visit the Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple of Nepal, situated on the bank of Sacred Bagmati River-one of the tributaries of the Ganges, the Boudhanath Stupathe largest of this type and a must visit place in a life time for the Buddhists. In the afternoon, you will drive 14 km north-east to Bhaktapur-the best preserved medieval Malla Principality where you can see the intricate wood and stone works in the temples, monasteries and houses of Bhaktapur. From here, you will proceed to Patan-another medieval Malla Principality, renowned as the City of Arts and Crafts . The sightseeing tour concludes in the late afternoon and drive back to your hotel. Day 03: Kathmandu-Pokhara After breakfast in the hotel, you will be transferred to the domestic airport for the flight to Pokhara. The 30 minutes flight by a small Beech Craft or SAABs craft offers you spectacular views of Mount Langtang , Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Hiuchuli and other majestic peaks of the Himalays. Ask the seat of right side when you check in . Upon arrival in small airfield of Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check in hotel and after some rest, you will go for local sightseeing tour. Davis Fall, Gupteshwar Cave , Tibetan Village and Seti Gorges are the tourist attraction of Pokhara. If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal , Pokhara is the capital of nature. Its an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil Valley and serves as the gateway to some of the most popular treks in the Annapurna Region. Day 04: At Pokhara Morning, excursion to Sarangkot. Afternoon, boating in Fewa Lake . Sarangkot (1,592m), the most popular destination in the surrounding of Pokhara, lies 5 km west of the old bazaar. Sarangkot is famous for the sunrise view and offers the spectacular views of Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli and other majestic peaks of the Himalayas . On the way back, you will stop in Bindhyabasini Temple -the center of religious activities of Pokhara. On Saturdays and Tuesdays, you can see people making animal sacrifices to the goddess. In the afternoon, you would love to take the boating trip in the tranquil water of Fewa Lake . Almost in the middle of the lake lies Barahi Temple where you can see devotees paying homage to the goddess. Day 05: Flight to Jomsom (2800m) You will take an early morning flight to Jomsom. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to Jomsom Mountain Resort by a tractor (The only motor engine carriage in the whole district!). Jomsom area is not only the most popular trekking destination in Nepal but also the gateway to Upper Mustang – “Kingdom” within the Hindu Kingdom of Nepal. Check in hotel and after some rest , you will take a two hours walk-trek to DHUMBA LAKE t hat lies 5.5 km from Jomsom. This is a sacred Turquoise lake nestled in the lap of Mt. Nilgiri . Legend says this lake water turned red on its own and it was only after performing a long and devoted religious ceremony, the lake water slowly began to return to its natural turquoise color and since then it is considered a sacred lake. This lake today attracts people from surrounding areas in all their finery and bright colors in all shapes, sizes and ages. Day 06 At Jomsom Walking Tour of Marpha Village ( 2650m). After breakfast, you will take a two hours walk-trek to Marpha Vilalge. You will collect your lunch pack before you leave. Marpha is huddled behind a ridge for protection from the wind and dust. This large Thakali village exhibits the typical Thak Khola architecture of flat roofs and narrow paved alleys and passageways. The low rainfall in this region makes these flat roofs practical; they also serve as a drying place for grains and vegetables. In Marpha, an extensive drainage system flows under the flagstone-paved street of this clean and pleasant village. There is a library (open from 5 to 7 p.m. ) and impressive ‘kanis’ gateways mark both ends of town. Marpha’s large, impressive gompa (monastery) was renovated and enlarged in 1996. An efficient system allows you to deposit your rucksack in a storage room before climbing the steps to visit. This is a Nyingmapa Buddhist gompa; as in Tengpoche, the Mani Rimdu festival is celebrated in the autumn here. Day 07: Flight to Pokhra/Kathmandu. Early morning, board in the Pokhara bound flight and catch the connection to Kathmandu . Upon arrival,t transfer to hotel. Day 08: Departure After breakfast, transfer to airport for your homebound flight.
