Trip in Detail / Dossier:

Day 1

In Kathmandu tour of Durbar Square-Syambhunath-Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa.

Morning a per given time by our office staff and guide for exciting Nepal Tour starting from Kathmandu around its famed world heritage sites, where a short drive accompanied by our expert guides shows you the wonders of Nepal as it was during ancient time. Tour leads to old Kathmandu Durbar Square (Royal Courtyard) located in the heart of Kathmandu where you will be impressed with cultural activities of the local, here visiting its famous sites of old palace, Kumari residents (a young virgin Living Goddess) with Kastamandap Temple, where the name Kathmandu derived from a temple built from the wood of a single tree. An interesting area teemed with local traditional way of life, after a tour of Durbar Square heading towards west of the city at Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the famous and historical as well religious importance a dome shaped Stupa / Chaitya, believed it existed more than 2,600 years of history a Buddhist monument of great beauty and grace with four cardinal sided mystical eyes of Lord Buddha. A great scenic and religious spot on high hills facing views of the city with rolling green hills and view of snow capped peaks towards north. Syambhunath also known as Money Temple due many monkeys that lives around its forest surrounding within the Stupa premises. From here drive towards eastern section of the city to holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath Temple a sacred place for all Hindu where pilgrims from all around Nepal and India visits this holy sites nearly every day, a great religious fair takes place in the month of February known as Shiva Ratri (Lord Shiva’s birth anniversary). After a tour viewing the temple golden roofed with four sided silver door from the bank of Bagmati River and then heading to a short distance at Bouddhanath large Stupa, believed to be more than 500 years of history a special and interesting Buddhist religious place, also known as Little Tibet due to large number local inhabitants of Tibetan origin. Day 2

Tour of Patan and Bhaktapur cities around places of interest.

Morning heading south of Kathmandu taking a short drive to enter into Patan or Lalitpur which means city of arts and crafts, another district and 2nd city within the valley with historical and religious sites of ancient monuments of temples and royal courtyard dating back from 6th to 11th Centauries. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, also mean city of beauty it is a place of beauty and grace and is planned on a circular format with Buddhist Stupa at each of the four points of the city corners. Patan full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities also and wonderful carvings, famous for its craftsmen and metal workers, it is also known as the city of artists. The city is believed to have been built during the reign of Vira Deva in 299 A.D. Some of Patan’s more important monuments are as follows: Durbar Square the hub of Patan with ancient Malla palace, Hiranya Varna Mahavibar of Buddhist temple, Kumbheshwar a holy pond with famous and interesting Jagat Narayan, Krishna Temple, Mahaboudba, Rudra Varna Mahavihar, Machchhendranath and The Tibetan Camp. After a grand tour of Patan of interesting few hours, tour continues taking a drive towards east of the valley and from Patan to reach at another famous Bhaktapur city the third largest city in the Kathmandu valley. The city was once a capital of Nepal during great Malla Kingdom regime around 12th to 15th Century. Bhaktapur a medieval period city and home to traditional art and architecture, pottery and weaving industries, rich local customs and culture, and the every-day life of Bhaktapur people. This ancient city was once Nepal’s Malla dynasty’s achievements in arts and crafts that reflects throughout Bhaktapur city. Bhaktapur is also known by woodcarving artists, for its traditional cap and for its famous curd, here you can relax and observe interesting happenings in the city with busy and color-full open markets, women’s making clay-pots, weaving, and sun-drying crops and vegetable products. Bhaktapur is located at 14 km east of Kathmandu. Places of great interest in Bhaktapur Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur famous and landmark of the city the Naytapola Temple, Bhaktapur National Art Gallery, Bhairavnath Temple of Bhaktapur and other place with famous Peacock window, from here with ever exciting and fascinating time head back to your hotel at Kathmandu.

Day 3

Drive to Pokhara and transfer to hotel by the Phewa lake side - 06 hrs journey.

With pleasant and interesting time exploring Kathmandu cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, morning starts with scenic drive to Pokhara heading Nepal Mid West, after an exciting overland drive reaching at Pokhara for two overnight stops in this beautiful city within its green valley facing views of Annapurna Himalaya that reflects on its serene Phewa Lake.
