While admiring the views, you can also explore the stupa and learn its history. After spending 1-2 hours here, you head done to Lakeside for lunch. Itinerary
7 AM: Start Hiking from Pokhara Lakeside to Peace Stupa
After breakfast, you head to Phewa Lake and catch a boat. Enjoy the serene views of the lake and the surrounding area. After around 10-20 minutes, you reach the west banks of the lake and, from there, you ascend on a gradually ascending trail to Peach Stupa. It takes about 1-2 hours to reach the top.

1 PM: Drive back from Peace Stupa after a short descent
From the stupa, you can see amazing panoramic views of the Pokhara valley and the Annapurna range. You can explore the surrounding area and explore the stupa as well. You can soak up in the view for a while before you head to the main road. After a short descent, you return to Lakeside where you can enjoy modern amenities at the local restaurants and diners.

If you wish to extend the hike and explore other surrounding areas, you need to inform us at least 2 days before the hike. This way, we can make an itinerary tailored for you.
You can add sightseeing destinations like Tal Barahi Temple, Mahendra Cave, and Davis Falls on this hike. After completing the hike, our staff will take you to the places you want to explore.

Do I need to bring my water bottle?
We recommend you carry your water bottle because safe drinking water might be difficult to find on the trail. You should not drink water from unknown sources during the hike. So, you should bring your water bottle. This will be an economical option as well. It is also environment-friendly if you carry your own. You can refill water at teahouses along the way.

How much extra cash should I carry?
On average, about US$20-30 is enough extra cash. But, it also depends on your spending habits. Refreshments, snacks, souvenirs, etc. are usually the things you need extra cash for. However, you have to carry Nepalese currency, as shops don’t accept foreign currency. You can easily exchange foreign currency with Nepalese rupees around Lakeside area.

What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothes that protect you from the sunlight. Clothes with long sleeves, sunglasses, hats, and appropriate hiking shoes or sports shoes are recommended. You can also bring a windcheater with you. During monsoon season, you need to wear waterproof jackets or apparel as it gets very wet.

Do I need to bring trekking poles?
Trekking poles are often used when you go on a long trek. Trekking poles makes walking easier. So, if you find difficulty walking uphill, we recommend bringing a trekking pole for this hike. You can buy or rent it from the local shops at the Lakeside or you can simply inform our staff and they’ll get one for you.

When is the best time to do this hike?
This hike can be done all year round. The recommended time is during the spring and autumn seasons. During these seasons, the weather is clear and stable, so the views are stunning. During the monsoon season, the route can get muddy and slippery. So, if you want the weather to be favorable, spring and autumn are a perfect time.
