We planned to trek to Everest Base Camp due to the sudden illness of my wife. We had to join the Everest base camp helicopter tour, but it was great. 
It would have been disappointing not to see Mt. Everest, but Mr. Buddhi from Himalaya Holiday Service was helpful and supportive.
