Itinerary– Everest Helicopter trekking

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

Afteryour arrival in Tribhuwan International airport, you will be picked up andtransferred to a hotel in Kathmandu. Check in the hotel and rest for a while.You can take your time and stroll around the streets of Kathmandu at the end ofthe day.

Day2 Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Packyour bags and set out for your trip! You will be transferred to the domesticterminal of Kathmandu airport. Catch a flight to Lukla and enjoy the views ofmountains as you fly to Lukla. Upon arrival, meet your guide and porter whowill escort you for the journey ahead. Walk through the hotels, lodges andshopa of Lukla and descend down to Dudhkohi River. Follow a trail that goesthrough the river and continue walking along a well paved path to Phakding.Stop at a guesthouse in Phakding for the night

Day3 Phakding to Namche

Followthe trail as it takes you to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Enterthe park and venture into the forests of rhododendron, pine and birch. Walkahead up and down through the undulating path with wonderful views of mountainsand forests on sight. Cross the suspension bridges over the river and continueascending up until you reach the town of Namche, the only gateway to Everest. Stayat a guesthouse in Namche for the night.

Day4 Hike to Everest View Hotel

Wakeup early in the morning for a hike up to the Everest View Hotel. The hotel isbest known for the fantastic views of mountains that it offers. Located at aperfect destination, it offers some magnificent close of views of mountains inEverest region. You can relish the beauty of mountains with of sip of yourtea/coffee in the hotel. Return back to Namche after the hike. On the way back,you can visit a museum cum photo gallery. Exploration of Khumjung village willadd to the excitement of your walk back to Namche. Stay at a guesthouse inNamche for the night.

Day5 Trek to Tengboche

We leave Namche and follow the trail that leads usto Dudhkoshi valley. We head towards the valley with awesome views of Mt.Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku and Mt. Ama Dablam on sight. Wepass villages, forests and walk along the right side of the Dudhkoshi river toTengboche. Tengboche is a small village on the route that is popular for theTengboche monastery and spectacular views of mountains that this place offers.Stay at a guesthouse in Tengboche for the night.

Day6 Tengboche to Dingboche

After breakfast, we start our walk to Dingboche. Wepass several chortens, mani walls and charming villages to Dingboche. As wehead forward, we will find Mt. Amadablam more close to us. We enter Imja valleyand descend down to Lobuche river. From the river, we climb up steep until wereach the meadows of Dingboche. From Dingboche, we can see a spectacular viewsof stone walls, summer settlement of herders, grazing animals and stone wallsbuilt to protect the barley, potato and buckwheat vegetation.We stay ata guesthouse in Tengboche for the night.

Day7 Hike to Nagerjun

For acclimatization purpose, we stay at Dingbochetoday. However, we will hike up to Nagerjun for wonderful views of mountains inthat region. Nagerjun is a beautiful vantage point that lies just aboveDingboche. It is 3-4 hours walk uphill from Dingboche. From Nagerjun, you canget some close of views of Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Kangtega, Mt. Taboche, Mt.Thamserku and Mt Amadablam. On a clear day, even Mt. Makalu is visible. Afteradmiring views of mountains and Pheriche valley from Nagerjun, we return backto the guesthouse in Dingboche for the night.

Day8 Dingboche to Lobuche

We head towards Lobuche today. We leave Dingboche,pass a trekkers aid post at Pheriche and continue our walk until we reachChupki Lhara. From here, we descend down to moraine of Khumbu glacier. You canget an absolute views of mountains like Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Lingtren, MahalangurHimal and Mt. Pumori from the moraine. We pass moraine and a glacier pass toLobuche. We stay at a guesthouse in Lobuche for the night.

Day9 Trek to Gorekshep – Everest Base Camp and back to Gorekshep

Get set for the most awaited day of your journey.Start your trek with a slow walk from Lobuche with striking views of Khumbuglacier on right. After 3-4 hours walk, you reach Gorekshep, a convenientlocation near base camp for lodging and food. We do not give rest to our feetuntil we reach the Everest Base Camp. We enjoy some incredible views ofmountains from the base camp and return back to Gorekshep for overnight stay.

Day10 Hike to Kalapatthar and fly back to Kathmandu

We wake up early to see the first touch of sun onthe world’s highest mountain – Mt. Everest. As we hike up to Kalapatthar, wecan see the panoramic views of mountains in Everest region. Mt. Everest isclearly visible from here. We enjoy the majestic views of mountains in Everestregion from Kalapatthar and enjoy taking wonderful photographs of mountains inhere. After spending some time in Kalapatthar, we fly back to Kathmandu on ahelicopter. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day11 Departure day

You will be escorted to the airport for your scheduled flight ahead.
